I am sure there are more.

I get that politicians stretch the truth, sometimes they lie, sometimes they pander. I don't mind that, really. Hillary does this too.

But what I see here is a really disturbing pattern of him pleading ignorance or blaming others and it seems that he is never held accountable for this pattern of ignorance. I mean we are either to believe that 1) he lies all the time, or 2) he really is ignorant...if it is the first, well, he needs to stop lying because he is losing credibility...if it is the second, he does NOT belong in the White House...

I also think this pattern is very, very problematic for the general election...

found over here: http://www.talkleft.com/comments/2008/4/1/02019/83931/3#3
atheistikahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03160073219264581544noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22788015.post-4852558125411509332008-03-26T09:47:00.001-07:002008-03-26T09:47:38.211-07:00McCain calls out Hillary's dis' on Patraeus.
Good job Maverick!

ht: Blogs for John McCain
atheistikahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03160073219264581544noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22788015.post-21155319651970334892008-03-19T09:52:00.001-07:002008-03-20T14:45:51.079-07:00LOLBarak...oh I'm gonna have fun with this.

Check out a couple of sites over here:

http://primordialslack.blogspot.com/2008/03/lolobama.html

http://www.fromthemaas.com/maas/archives/134-Fun-With-Obama-Propaganda.html

http://www.lolbama.com

atheistikahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03160073219264581544noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22788015.post-6576651030489469792008-02-27T14:46:00.001-08:002008-02-27T14:46:12.033-08:00Obama ain't that smart.
Ummm...I meant to say isn't, really.

Obamalogic from teh Obamasiah:

1. In some ways it’s a much tougher problem because it doesn’t lend itself to neat market solutions. There could indeed be unexpected spikes that damage humans and ecosystems. But it’s worth remembering that specialists in the biological or physical sciences can be terribly short-sighted when imagining what problems will beset humans in the future. They can forecast how the physical world will change, but they’re not always accurate even at that, and they’re not not experts in analyzing human responses or in determining the policies that make the most economic and social sense.
atheistikahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03160073219264581544noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22788015.post-61564500158794942712007-04-23T05:46:00.000-07:002007-04-23T05:48:18.674-07:00Liberals don't care about people, they care about issues. This whole gun controversy arising out of the VT tragedy is very telling. I don't mean to put down people who are gay and are in the closet about it but there are a lot of similarities.

None of my family are atheists (except my dad and he's in the closet too [at 66 years old no less])

We can't talk about it in polite company because it would upset the apple cart in the rest of our family relationships so much we risk ostricism.

You are assumed to be immoral without belief in god.

Everyone assumes you believe in god and can't conceive of you being otherwise.

hmmm. Looks similar.

Today I read an interesting post about being Conservative in NY. I'm glad I'm surrounded by a mixed and mostly conservative neighborhood as this would drive me crazy, but it appears that there is also political closeting.

http://www.classicalvalues.com/archives/004193.html

Very interesting.

In that situation would I be a double closetter? Or would I be surrounded by atheists [libs] and therefore back to a single closet?

Which would I prefer? Well I don't give a crap about god so I guess it's better to be in that closet rather than the political closet...hmmm.
atheistikahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03160073219264581544noreply@blogger.com0
